ABSTRACT

This research has examined the rent review pattern of a single building
in Coal Camp. The researcher used questionnaires, interview,s and
self-observation as methods of data collection. The data was collected
among some landlords and Estate agents of the selected properties.

The data collected was analyzed based on the interpretation and
conclusion made. Chapter one treats the introduction of this work,
chapter two literature Review, chapter three Research Methodology,
chapter four Data presentation, analysis and interpretation, and five summaries of findings, recommendation, and conclusion. Finally, it has
been discovered that there are certain factors which affect the pattern
of renting single building and rent for residential properties.

Considering these factors, it is now possible that the rent paid for one
property will not be the same for the other. One significant factor that
bring about differences in rent is the use to which a property is put.
Conclusively the result of the analysis indicates that rent passing on
commercial property is always higher than the rent passing on
residential properties.
